HOST FAMILIES
WISE students on short-term or long-term educational learning experiences stay in homes of American families. Potential host families go through an application process including a home visit, FBI background screening, and an orientation training session.
Families integrate WISE students into their home and their family life. This is a great way for WISE students to learn conversational English in a safe and loving environment. Host families benefit, too, from the cultural exchange. This is a win-win situation for both the host family and the international student.
